UB-Kharhorum-Chuluut, Ider river fishing trip

Day 1

To arrive at Chinggis Khaan International Airport and check in 3 or 4 star hotel. Visit main square Sukhbaatar, Natural History Museum, Gandan monastery, Zaisan Hill, Winter Palace of Bogd Khaan. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Drive to Karakorum nowadays a functioning monastery in constant renovation to its former splendor. Once, 1000 monks used to inhabit Erdenezuu Monastery. It had some 100 temples within its 400 by 400 meters long walls. The monastery was sacked during the purges of 1937. Only the walls and 3 temples remain. Erdenezuu is still one of the most fascinating sites of Mongolia, and usually we will be able to experience and see the prayers. Also here you can see Mongolian only Tibetan style temple as well. Return to camp and overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation).

Day 3

Drive to Chuluut gorge. Overnight at tent.

Day 4-5

Full day fishing and relax for leisure.

Day 6

Drive to Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake. Arrive at Khorgo camp. Relax and Visit to Khorgo volcano. Overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation).

Day 7

Full day fishing. Overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation).

Day 8

Drive to Ider River. Relax and fishing. Overnight at tent.

Day 9

Full day fishing. Overnight at tent

Day 10

Full day fishing. Drive to Jargal jiguur tourist camp

Day 11

Drive to Ugii Lake. Overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation).

Day 12

Full day fishing

Day 13

After breakfast drive to Ulaanbaatar. Check in hotel. Relax leisure. To shopping and see folklore concert. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14

Breakfast. Check out hotel and transfer to Airport. Departure.

  • Hotel Accommodation in hotel Ulaanbaatar for 2 nights for twin sharing base
  • Tourist GER camp for 6 nights (3-4 pax will be in one ger)
