Fishing at Fascinating Rivers

Description: Fishing in Mongolia is a wonderful experience. We have over 4000 rivers and more than 30 lakes - all totally unpolluted, and a fabulous place to catch a wide variety of fish. Taimen, the largest fish in the salmon family, is a real challenge to catch – try your luck on this tour! The average Taimen is around 33 inches and weighs roughly 10 pounds, however, there will be multiple chances every day to try catching fish over 50 inches. Siberian White Fish, Siberian Grayling, Lenok, Umber, Baikal, Omul and River Perch are among the other varieties you will catch among the spectacular scenery of Mongolia 's exotic nature. The fishing season starts from 15th August.

Itinerary

Day 1	To arrive at Chinggis Khaan International Airport and check in 3 or 4 star hotel. Visit main square Sukhbaatar, Natural History Museum, Gandan monastery, Zaisan Hill, Winter Palace of Bogd Khaan. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2	Drive to Kharkhorum nowadays a functioning monastery in constant renovation to its former splendor. Once, 1000 monks used to inhabit Erdenezuu Monastery. It had some 100 temples within its 400 by 400 meters long walls. The monastery was sacked during the purges of 1937. Only the walls and 3 temples remain. Erdenezuu is still one of the most fascinating sites of Mongolia, and usually we will be able to experience and see the prayers. Also here you can see Mongolian only Tibetan style temple as well. Return to camp and overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation).

Day 3	Drive to Chuluut gorge. Here we are fishing the river in the evening. Overnight at tent.

Day 4-5	Full day fishing and relax for leisure.

Day 6	Drive to Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake. Arrive at Khorgo camp. Relax and Visit to Khorgo volcano. Overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation).

Day 7	Full day fishing. Overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation).

Day 8	Drive to Ider River. Relax and fishing. Overnight at tent.

Day 9	Full day fishing. Overnight at tent

Day 10	Full day fishing. Drive to Jargal jiguur tourist camp

Day 11	Drive to Ugii Lake. Overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation).

Day 12	Full day fishing

Day 13	After breakfast drive to Ulaanbaatar. Check in hotel. Relax leisure. To shopping and see folklore concert. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14	Breakfast. Check out hotel and transfer to Airport. Departure.
