Day 1: Fri, Jul 25,08

Arrive at Chinggis khaan international airport and meet our guide. Free time for relax in morning*. After lunch short city tour including Sukhbaatar square –Chinggis khan monument, Traditional Folklore concert. Hotel overnight.

Day 2: Sat, Jul 26,08

Flight to Ulgii town the center of Bayan-Ulgii province. Lunch at Ulgii town. Drive to Khoton Lake through Ulaan Khus village. On the way near Tsengel Khairkhan Mountain we will set up tent and Overnight at tent.

Day 3: Sun, Jul 27,08

Drive to Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. Altai mountain range is Mongolia's largest and highest mountain range over 4000 meters above sea level with snow capped peaks and glacier. Overnight at tent.

Day 4: Mon, Jul 28,08

Drive to Khoton Lake. It is a fresh water lake nestled in a mountain depression surrounded by high mountains with forests. Hike to shore the lake. Overnight at tent.

Day 5: Tue, Jul 29,08

Drive to Dayan Lake. Short walking and overnight at tent.

Day 6: Wed, Jul 30,08

Drive to Khovd town. Visit to local museum. Overnight at local hotel.

Day 7: Thu, Jul 31,08

Drive to Uyench Cave. Overnight at tent.

Day 8: Fri, Aug 01,08

Drive to Total Solar Eclipse spot (Bulgan village, Khovd province) and make your preparations for viewing the eclipse. The eclipse will continue around 2 minutes. Overnight at tent.

Day 9: Sat, Aug 02,08

Drive to Darvi village. On the way pass through the Iher nuur (twin lakes). And overnight at tent.

Day 10: Sun, Aug 03,08

Drive to Altai town. On the pass through the Sutai Mountain. It is 4200 meters high above sea level, snow capped mountain. Overnight at local hotel.

Day 11: Mon,Aug 04,08

Drive to Burkhan Buudai Mountain natural reserve. The main recourse of small local rivers’ beginning, and there are also many unique creations of nature to be found. Continue drive to Chandmani village. Overnight at tent near the Chandmani village.

Day 12: Tue,Aug 05,08

Drive over Ikh Bogd Mountain. There will be time for walking and bird watching around the mountain. The landscape is vast open space stretching to the horizon, with colorful low hills in the distance and the massive Mount Ikh Bogd lying behind. Overnight at tent.

Day 13: Wed,Aug 06,08

Drive to Khongor sand dune or known as Singing Dune. Khongor sand dune is one of the biggest sand dunes of Mongolia. It has an extraordinary length of approximate 100kms and 12 kilometers wide. There is an oasis near a river Khongor at the northern edge of the sand dunes. Overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation)

Day 14: Thu,Aug 07,08

Drive to Ice Valley which located in Gobi Gurvan Saikhan or known as Three Beauty of Gobi. It is end of the Altai mountain ranges and chance to see wild animals such as wild sheep, ibex, condor, golden eagle and of course vultures. Overnight at GER.

Day 15: Fri,Aug 08,08

Drive to Gobi desert through Baga Gazriin Chuluu or known as Rock formation. We’ll drive around 280 km through steppe by overview of land-sea and grandiose formation of rocks and basalts of Baga Gazriin Chuluu. Overnight at Ger.

Day 16: Sat,Aug 09, 08

Drive to Ulaanbaatar city. Farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 17: Sun,Aug 10,08

Check out hotel. Transfer to Airport and Departure.
