Day 1

To arrive at Chinggis Khaan International Airport and check in 3 or 4 star hotel. Visit Gandan monastery and main square Sukhbaatar, Natural History Museum. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Drive to Eej khad, Sergelen sum. Saker falcon site. Overnight at tent.

Day 3

Drive to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, Sum khukh burd. Steppe raptor as Steppe Eagle, Golden Eagle, Saker Falcon, Upland Buzzard and etc… Overnight at the steppe lake with reed grass. You will see raptors, many waterbirds and shorebirds, mineral water from ground and old Danzanravjaa’s wall. Overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation).

Day 4

Drive to Ikh Gazriin Chuluu. The spectacular mountain landscape in the Mongolian steppe. Black Vulture’s breeding site. Overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation).

Day 5

Drive to Gobi Sumber, Choiriin Bogd Uul. The different breeding sites of Saker falcon in Mongolia. Overnight at tent.

Day 6

Drive to Bor Undur. The different breeding sites of Upland Buzzards. Overnight at tent.

Day 7

Drive to Darkhan village. Saker falcons and other steppe birds. Overnight at tent.

Day 8

Drive to Delgerkhaan Mountain. Steppe birds and Chingis Khaan’s history monument. Overnight at tent.

Day 9

Drive to Kherlen River. Overnight at tent.

Day 10

Drive to Terelj National Park. Raptors of forest steppe in Mongolia. Overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation)

Day 11

Arrive to Ulaanbaatar city. Shopping and see folklore concert. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12

Departure. End of tour.

Ps: All travelers should bring own guide book for birds, binoculars, telescopes and tripod.

  • Accommodation with 3-4 star hotel in Ulaanbaatar for 3 nights for twin sharing base
  • Tourist GER camp overnight for 2 nights
