There are 3 main destinations as Northern part is Khuvsgul lake area where you will enjoy beautiful nature and meet Tsaatan reindeer herders. In west part of Mongolia, you may see high mountains with scenic beauty, big sand dunes, a lot of lake and different ethnical groups live there. In the southern Mongolia, visit to Gobi Desert where you can ride 2 humped camels, walking on sand dune.

    Tour itinerary


Day 1 Ulaanbaatar
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the hotel. After checking-in to the hotel, we will do short city tour including Chinggis Square, Chinggis Khaan Monument, Gandan Monastery and Zaisan Hill for panoramic view of the city. Before having dinner, we will enjoy Mongolian traditional folklore concert and after dinner we will return to the hotel and stay overnight. 
Day 2 Kharkorum 
Drive to Kharkhorum. Kharkhorum was built in 1220 and was the capital of Mongolia for 140 years. In 1388, the city was massively destroyed and Erdenezuu Buddhist Monastery where we will make a visit was founded in 1586 at the city’s ruin. It was the first and the biggest Buddhist center in Mongolia in 17th century. The monastery complex is surrounded by 400x400m walls with 108 stupas. In the early 20th century, there were more than 100 temples and over thousand lamas that used to serve. The monastery was sacked during the purges of 1937. Nowadays, only one temple holds religious activity and the rest remained as a museum. Stay the night at tourist Ger Camp.
Day 3 Tsenkher hot spring
Drive to Tsenkher Hot spring which is located 1860m above sea level in Khangai Mountain Ranges. Arrive in tourist Ger camp and have a bath in hot spring pool. Stay the night at tourist Ger Camp.
Day 4 Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake
Drive to Khorgo Terkh National Park. On the way we will see a tree named 108 branches of tree with covered blue scarf (Khadag) which Mongolians believe that praying for this tree brings good luck. Afterwards we will see Chuluut river great canyon which is a huge creation of volcanic earthquake. Arrive at Khorgo and stay the night at Ger Camp.
Day 5 Zuun nuur
Drive to Zuun Lake. Today you will drive through one of the most beautiful landscapes of Mongolia.  Enjoy walking around the lake and we will stay the night at the Ger Camp.
Day 6 Khuvsgul Lake
Drive to Khuvsgul Lake. Khuvsgul Lake is dubbed as the Mongolian Switzerland. It is surrounded with lash green forest mountains and is the second deepest lake in Central Asia. Also it covers 1% of fresh water resource of the world. Stay the night at the Ger Camp.
Day 7 Khuvsgul Lake
Visit Tsaatan family also well known as reindeer people where it is located approximately 50kms from our camp site and it takes 2 and a half hour of driving. Depending on the season, sometimes these families move on to a more remote area for their reindeers. Mostly there will be two families which are Tsaatan people (reindeer herder) and Shaman. Stay the night at the tourist Ger Camp.
Day 8 Burentogtokh soum
Drive to the Burentogtokh soum of Khuvsgul province. Overnight at tented camp. 
Day 9 Telmen Lake
In the morning we will drive to the Telmen Lake. The lake lies near the boundary between the forest-steppe and steppe ecosystems. The Telmen Lake, a closed lake basin, is slightly salty (about 4g per L salinity). Lunch in the Tosontsengel town. Overnight at tent on bank of Telmen Lake.
Day 10 Oigon Lake
Drive to the Oigon Lake which is located in the northwest of the Khangai mountain range. Overnight at tent. 
Day 11 Khyrgas Lake
Drive to the Kyrgas Lake which is located in the great lake depression and one of the largest ones in the country. Overnight at tourist GER camp. 
Day 12 Ulaangom town
Drive to Ulaangom town. The Ulaangom is center of the Uvs province and you are able to visit local black market. Overnight at local hotel.
Day 13 Uureg Lake
Drive to the Uureg Lake via Ulaangom town. Overnight at GER camp.
Day 14 Ulgii town
Drive to the Ulgii town, center of Bayan Ulgii province where Kazakh people, minority of ethnic groups live. Overnight at tourist GER camp. 
Day 15 Tsagaan Salaa
Drive to Tsagaan Salaa, rock paintings among the most extensive of Asia. In Tsaggan salaa there are more that 10000 rock paintings from stone ages and covers an area of 15km long valley. Visit Kazakh families and lunch. Experience how to master eagles and hunting. Full board. Overnight at tented camped.
Day 16 Tavan Bogd
Transfer to Tavan Bogd. Today we hike to around the Tavan Bogd Mountain. From here we can view the peaks of the Altai Mountains. 
Day 17 Ulgii
Drive back to the Ulgii town of Bayan-Ulgii province, overnight at tourist GER camp.
Day 18 Khovd
We will drive to Khovd city and explore many ethnic minorities in the modern and old parts of the city. Overnight at tourist GER camp. 
Day 19 Darvi soum area
We will start driving to the Gobi Altai province. On the way, we will pass through the Darvi village that is located in the western corner of the Gobi Altai. We will drive through the beautiful looking mountain called Tsast Bogd. Overnight in the tent near the Darvi village.
Day 20 Altai town
We will drive to the Gobi Altai province. Gobi-Altai province is located in the western part of the country. It is a huge province of windswept plains and high mountains. This is an area where Gobi steppes join the Altai mountain range. Overnight at Local hotel.
Day 21 Buun Tsagaan Lake
Drive to the lake of Buun Tsagaan Nuur. The lake of Buun Tsagaan Nuur covers 40 square kilometers and at an altitude of 1336 meters above sea level. Picnic lunch on the way. Overnight in a tent. 
Day 22 Bichigt Khad
On the way to the rock carvings you will drive through the narrow beautiful canyon and reach Bayanlig Village. Picnic lunch on the way. Explore the area with huge amount of rock carvings that belongs to 3000 years ago. Overnight in a tourist GER camp.
Day 23 Khongor sand dune
Drive to Khongor Sand Dunes or known as Singing Dunes. Khongor Sand Dunes are the biggest sand dunes of Mongolia. It has an extraordinary length of 180 kms and is 15-20 kms wide. There is an oasis near Khongor River at the northern edge of the sand dunes. Stay the night at Ger Camp.
Day 24 Yoliin Am
Drive to Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Mountain Range (Three beauties of Gobi). It is the end of the Altai Mountain Ranges where you will have the chance to see wild animals such as wild sheep, ibex, condor, golden eagle and vultures. We will visit Yoliin Am glacier canyon and enjoy walking between the canyons. Until mid July, we can see glaciers of the canyon. Stay the night at tourist Ger Camp.
Day 25 Yoliin Am - Ulaanbaatar
Transfer to airport and take a flight to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. 
Day 26 Departure
Check out hotel and transfer to airport for departure. End of the tour.
