This trip covers the Western Part of Mongolia and it is especially new challenges and different experiences! There are about 10 different ethnic nomadic groups live in the area. You will journey in the landscape of eternally snow-capped peaks of the Altai Mountain as much as rivers, streams, lakes and the forest zone of Khovd, Uvs, and Bayan-Ulgii province. | Day 1 Arrival in Ulaanbaatar |
| Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the hotel. After checking-in to the hotel, we will do short city tour including Chinggis Square, Chinggis Khaan Monument, Gandan Monastery and Zaisan Hill for panoramic view of the city. Before having dinner, we will enjoy Mongolian traditional folklore concert and after dinner we will return to the hotel and stay overnight. |
| Day 2 Ulaangom town |
| Flight to Ulaangom town the center of Uvs province. Sightseeing and overnight at local hotel. |
| Day 3 Kharkhiraa Mountain |
| Kharkhiraa Mountain – This is big mountain covered with snow all year around. The Mountain is one of Mongol-Altai range, 4038m above sea level. Overnight at tent. |
| Day 4 Achit Lake |
| Drive to Achit Lake; located at the edge of Bayan-Ulgii and Uvs province elevation of 1464m above sea level and largest fresh lake in Altai Mountain region. In the Achit Lake shore there is ethnic groups of Kazak and Mongolian live. Overnight at tent on the lake shore. |
| Day 5 Ulgii town |
| Drive to Ulgii town. Visit Muslim Tomb, local Museum and bazaar. Overnight at tourist GER camp. |
| Day 6 Tavan Bogd |
| Dive to Tavan Bogd National park and arrive national park gate. Continue hiking to Tavan Bogd. Altai mountain range is Mongolia's largest and highest mountain range over 4000 meters above sea level with snow capped peaks and glacier. Overnight at tent. |
| Day 7 Tavan bogd |
| Today we will trek around mountains. Overnight at tent. |
| Day 8 Ulgii town |
| Drive to Ulgii town. Visit to Kazakh family. Overnight in local hotel. |
| Day 9 Tolbo Lake |
| Drive to Tolbo Lake. A large saltwater lake of 185 square kilometers (18kms long), located in the 2080m above sea level. Overnight at tent |
| Day 10 Khar us Lake |
| Drive to Khar Us Lake; the 72 kilometers long, 23 kilometers wide beautiful lake which the homeland of water birds. And it is a second biggest fresh lake in the country. Continue drive to GER camp. Overnight at tent camp. |
| Day 11 Khovd town |
| Drive to Khovd town. Visit to local museum and sightseeing. Transfer to GER camp. Overnight at GER camp. |
| Day 12 Ulaanbaatar city |
| Transfer to Khovd airport and take fly to Ulaanbaatar. Relax for leisure. Overnight at hotel. |
| Day 13 Terelj National park |
| Drive to Terelj National Park. Short stop on Terelj Ovoo or known as shamanist sacred stones. Continues to cave, Turtle Rock and Aryabal meditation temple. Lunch at tourist camp. Short hike to the mountain see picturesque scenery of National Park. Overnight at GER (Mongolian traditional felt accommodation) |
| Day 14 Ulaanbaatar |
| In the Morning we can short horse riding. Return to Ulaanbaatar and check in hotel. Shopping at souvenir and cashmere shops. Overnight at hotel. |
| Day 15 Departure |
| Check out hotel and transfer to airport for departure. End of the tour. |
